Find Your Ease

Anytime

You don't need to believe in anything to feel the effects of a good practice. But if you're curious about what's beyond the physical, I'll meet you there too.

A practice that brings you something real. A positive change to your day to day.

What I offer

A practice that meets you where you are, both in person and online.

Your call

Why show up on the mat? It isn't about becoming a new person. It's about becoming more yourself, steadier, clearer, less reactive. This way the rest of your life gets easier to enjoy.

If any of this sounds familiar, you're in the right place:

✓ You're skeptical of spiritual language, but want to know what's actually happening within your body and mind

✓ You want real tools for stress, a busy mind, an aching body or burnout, without the pressure of implementing an extensive wellness routine

✓ You're active and want more flexibility, recovery and body awareness

✓ You're grieving and looking for space and people to hold that with

✓ You’re curious to take your first class, or to discover deeper levels of your existing practice, all levels welcome

The yogic way

My approach that gets you there

All my teachings come from tradition, with the simple reason that it's powerful and it works, whether you believe it or not.

The physical practice, the asanas, prepares the body. The breathwork, pranayama, prepares the mind. And once body and mind have been trained, there's room to actually sit still, to meditate, to practice acceptance and presence instead of just talking or thinking about it.

That, in the end, is what I believe leads somewhere close to true contentment in daily life.

I help you experience the benefits of yoga by making it accessible, safe, understandable and something you want to do again.

About

More than poses. How did I get here?

My name is Frederieke. It shares its root with the Dutch word vrede, meaning peace. I didn't choose yoga because of this, but it does seem like my parents were on to something from the start.

My search for inner peace and some sort of lasting acceptance to whatever is happening in life kept pointing me towards yoga. But it didn't start as such. It came from a place of curiosity about movement mostly.

I found yoga through years of moving in different ways, dance, water sports, martial arts and more, before becoming a dedicated and daily student over 10 years ago… How?

Retreat

Love & Loss

A personal story turned into a collective dream

At 28, I unexpectedly lost my mother and my stepmother within one year, the two women who raised me. Out of that grew a retreat I wish had existed: a small, gentle gathering for (young) adults carrying loss, where all of you is welcome, none of it is required.

The first Love & Loss retreat is planned for 2027 in Costa Brava. Read my story and why I’m creating it.

Whenever you

are ready

Whether you’re here for one class, a specific goal or a place to let everything be, you’re more than welcome.

I invite you to practice with me, and see how it feels.

Let’s flow together

Curious about a private session, a workshop or something that doesn’t have a name yet?

Send me a message and I’m sure we will find a way.
